JadeValue invests between $150-500K for equity in Fintech startups, mainly from Angel to Pre-A round.We are looking for startups with a superior product, scalable business, with a large market and passionate entrepreneurial team. Founders that are devoted and confident, show intelligent integration between knowledge and resources, and aiming for a quick break through. We love founders that are embracing the addictive rawness of entrepreneurship, and transcends this endorphin filled energy to their team to achieve amazing things together.
Several of our portfolio companies relocate to our Incubation space in Shanghai, Lujiazui. JadeValue provides startups with free prime office for 6 months, access to our large global network of media, investors and Fintech professionals. They will also have exclusive access to our great in-house team with expertise in everything from e.g. data analytics, recruitment, fund raising, government affairs to graphic design. By removing everyday barriers, we assist the startups to speed up their growth and increase their likelihood of gaining real traction.

Johan Uddman is the General Manager of JadeValue, building and investing in the next generation of Fintech startups in China and globally. He is also a VP in CashBUS, a market-leading mobile consumer financial service provider in China, founded in 2014. He is a graduate from Stockholm University, and has also studied at Fudan University in Shanghai and NNMU in South Africa.
Mus Tang is an associate Vice President of JadeValue and CashBUS, working on maintaining and expanding JadeValue’s investment and government relationships. He is also a serial entrepreneur, a grounded business strategist and an angel investor with more than ten years’ experience from internet startups. Prior, he also worked with Huawei as a Key Account Manager in Ghana.
Frank Pei is our Director of Investment & BD, responsible for startup scouting, and VC/PE network development. He has background in Search and Text Mining, and has worked for Ant Financial Big data and AI technology commercialization. With a deep understanding of both the technology and business side, he is a sharp investor and resource for the startups.
Steve Shao is our Senior BD and tech advisor in the areas of Artificial Intelligence，Big Data and InsurTech. Prior to joining JadeValue, he founded Tromtek as CTO, and worked in fabless chip design companies, which are based on the solid mathematical foundation of algorithms, technology research and application development. He holds a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Tsinghua University.
Changcheng Zhu is the Head of Media & PR in JadeValue. He was the first reporter to report on internet finance in China with 8 years’ experience in press media, among other from Forbes. By leveraging rich media resources, he assists portfolio companies to gain the right media exposure, e.g. to public and investors, in order to build brand influence.
Yishan Zhang is JadeValue’s marketing advisor, event planner and social media promoter. Prior to joining JadeValue, she has gained well-rounded experience in marketing and branding in both US and China market, across brand consultancy, marketing analytics and social media promotion. She graduated from New York University with master degree in Integrated Marketing.
Vincent Yang is the Investment Manager and Financial Advisor of JadeValue. He is focusing on deal sourcing and investment, assisting startups with finance-related inquiries and taking charge of post-investment management. He has over six years of investment, auditing and advisory experience. Before joining JadeValue, he worked as a Senior Auditor for Ernst & Young and Accountant Supervisor at Haier. He has also helped companies to successfully list on NASDAQ.
Jenny Li is JadeValue’s excellent graphic designer. She has rich experience in brand design. Prior to joining JadeValue, she has helped a number of startups to create e.g. impressive brand visual identities, event posters, brand brochures and website design. Graduate from the Department of Visual Communication Design, Tianjin University of Science and Technology.
Yuchen Yang is our tech advisor, formerly a senior Decision Scientist at Avant in the US. He is specialized in solving business problems with data-driven strategies, making prediction models in R/Python and studying the mainstream distributed system that can be leveraged by FinTech companies. Master degree in Finance at Illinois Institute of Technology. FRM and CFA-level 3 certificated.
Andrew Ning is our InsurTech expert and advisor, helping startups on strategy, management and conducting deep industry research. He previously worked as a CEO of an InsurTech startup, giving him a deep understanding of the hardships and barriers startup entrepreneurs are going through.
